How long has Sid's Carpet Barn been in business?

Established in 1950, Sid's Carpet Barn started out selling only in stock carpet to its residential and business customers in San Diego. Now we've expanded our product selection to include carpet, tile, wood, laminate, stone, vinyl and area rugs, along with full service installation throughout Southern California.


What type of flooring does Sid's Carpet Barn offer?

Sid's Carpet Barn stocks various products, including carpet, vinyl, wood, laminate, tile, stone and area rugs. At any given time we have in excess of 2,000,000 sqft. of flooring in our warehouses ready for next day installation.


What if your in-stock merchandise isn't what I am looking for, do you have other selections?

Don't worry, if you do not see what you're looking for among our in-stock product offering, we have over 10,000 samples of other beautiful flooring options that can be ordered from the manufacturers. Most of which can be delivered to our warehouse in as little as three days. We have accounts with all of the major flooring manufacturers, including but not limited to: Shaw, Mohawk, Tuftex, Beaulieu, Masland, Dixie, Royalty, Camelot, Queen, Unique, Kane, Armstrong, Mannington, Congoleum, Karndean, Dal-Tile, Emser, EPC, Quickstep, Bedrosian, and many more.

Will Sid's Carpet Barn give me an estimate via email or over the phone?

We are happy to give you a rough estimate based on the information you provide us via email or over the phone. You can email us by filling out our online form. Please keep in mind that each home has its own unique floor plan. Therefore, in order for us to provide our customers with the most accurate quote, we assess each project individually. Our flooring consultant will come to your home, measure your room and provide you with a free all-inclusive estimate with no obligation to purchase. Does Sid's Carpet Barn provide installation services?

We provide immediate installation on all in stock products we sell. Our professional installers are licensed, bonded and insured. In addition, you can put your mind at ease with the knowledge that we warranty our flooring installations.


Will Sid's Carpet Barn move furniture?

Sid's Carpet Barn is happy to assist with moving your furniture. However, please note that moving heavier items such as computer equipment, pianos, pool tables, refrigerators, televisions, stereos, etc. are the responsibility of the customer. As a precaution, we also suggest removing all small, fragile or valuable items from each room. Please contact one of our representatives at 1-888-484-7437 for further details regarding preparing your home for your upcoming flooring installation and any fees involved for moving furniture.


Will Sid's Carpet Barn remove my carpeting?

Yes, not only will our installers remove your old flooring, they will haul away your used carpet and pad for a minimal dump/recycling fee. Sid's Carpet Barn is a certified carpet recycler. Meaning all the used carpet and pad that we remove from your home gets diverted from local landfills and instead is recycled back into carpet cushion (or pad).


Do I need to call to confirm the time of installation?

No, it is not necessary for you to confirm a time for your installation. One of our representatives will contact you to confirm your installation appointment and answer any additional questions you may have about the entire process.
